Thomas (TJ) Augustine is a senior at Saint Edmond High School in Fort Dodge.  He plays football, basketball, and runs track.  He coachs youth sports in his free time.  TJ coached a fifth and sixth grade basketball team in his first year of head coaching.  Then the next summer coached third and fourth grade baseball for the YMCA.  TJ also has coached 5th grade flag football and all grades of track and field.  He officiates those same sports as well.

        After is fresman year Thomas attended the CSLC Lead America Defense and Intelligence conference in Washington DC and was elected Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.  There he was able to go to sites such as Arlington Cemetary, The Pentagon, and The United State's Capitol.  He also went to the offices of Congressman Tom Latham, Senator Tom Harkin, and Senator Charles Grassely. 

TJ just recenty attended the Teenage Republican Conference in Washington DC.  Top TAR leaders from all acorss the country joined up and were able to discuss issues that affect teenagers and ways to continue to develop each respective TAR federation.  While here TJ held the honor of being Tom Delay's escort before speaking to the group of Teenage Republicans.  While in Washington TJ met with Sen. Chuck Grassley, Congressmen Tom Latham, Steve King,  and Jim Nussle.  TJ also spoke to aids of Congressmen Boswell and Leach.  TJ and some of his friends there also spent a lot of time with Congressman Joe Wilson from South Caralina.  Other high ranking officals such as Sen. George Allen, Congressman Putnam (FL), Congresswoman Capito, Morton Blackwell,  and Armstrong Williams, among others.
